Abstract

Dermoid cysts are malformations occurring in the head and neck region with an incidence ranging from 1.6% to 6.9%. Histologically, they can be further classified as epidermoid, dermoid or teratoid. We report a case of adult male who presented at our hospital with a preauricular cyst; it was excised and confirmed histopathologically as an epidermoid cyst.
