Abstract

Eagle’s syndrome is an infrequent pathology characterized by the presence of cer- vicofacial pain, headache and cramps that are projected in the throat, neck and ear. We reported a case of a 36 year-old woman with a history of cervical swelling, sore throat and syncope, which on imaging studies was found ossification both stylohyoid ligaments, causing carotid compression and syncope.
