Abstract

Down syndrome is the most common chromosomal abnormality in Chile. The pa- tients with this syndrome have a number of dysmorphic features and congenital malfor- mations. Many secondary pathologies of these disorders are ENT sphere. There otologic disorders, chronic rhinosinusitis, obstructive sleep apnea, airway obstruction, atlan- toaxial instability, etc. A literature review is performed and the most relevant diseases and confrontation are described.
