Abstract
The evaluation of neurosensorial tinnitus is highly important in the study of these patients; there are two ways of conducting this study, firstly tinnitometry, which involves the confrontation of frequency and intensity, the maskability of tinnitus and the search for the residual inhibition and secondly and most important, psycho-emotional medicine. The best known and valued test for this purpose is the Tinnitus Handicap Inventory (THI). In this article, a national linguistic homologation of this test is proposed, that allows for reliable and truthful answers.
