Abstract
The cleft lip and palate is a common congenital malformation describe as a multifactorial pathology. Various structures must be corrected, including those related with the lip and nose. This review describe this malformation, its classification, the surgical anatomy in the cleft lip and palate infant, presurgical orthopedics (an important progress in the last years) the techniques actually used and the postsurgical managing.
