Abstract
The cholesteatoma is the presence of keratinized squamous epithelium in pneuma- tized areas of the temporal bone, its most frequent location is the attic. In the 1990s the development of the ear endoscopic surgery begins, offering a new perspective for cho- lesteatoma treatment. Two clinical cases of patients who present attic cholestatoma are described. A transcanal endoscopic approach with complete macroscopic resection was accomplished. Post-surgical audiometry shows improvement of the conductive hearing loss.
